Sporting achievements
Sport is valued highly at Arnesby School and the staff dedicate a large amount of time to training, organising and attending matches. The support of the parents is key and is highly appreciated.
We have enjoyed great success over the years.
Last year was a highly successful year for our sports teams with a wide variety of sports covered:

Some of our achievements in 2006/07 -

Small Schools' Swimming Gala - 3rd Place
Small Schools' Football League - 3rd Place
Syd East Football Tournament - Runners Up (2nd Year Running)
Small Schools' Athletics - 7th Postion

Well done to everyone who took part.

Football

The school football team is very active, taking part in the South Leicestershire Small Schools League and the Syd-East tournament, where we came runners-up this year, being beaten (only just) by a very strong side from Husbands Bosworth (who went on to win the 'East Area' league).

The main difference this season will be that Arnesby will not be teaming up with Mowsley. This will mean that Arnesby will be drawing on Years 4, 5 and 6 to play in the Small Schools' League this season.
